History

The successful story of the Living Puppets brand began 2000 in Hamburg, Germany with 6 handpuppets animals. We design a year new handpuppets to enlarge our range. Meanwhile over 400 loveable characters belong to the Living Puppets family. Regrettably we have to take regularly some handpuppets out of our assortment; these exemplars become then rarities for a lot of passionate collectors. There are about 250 different Living Puppets in our current catalogue.

The great playability, the originality of the individual character and the higher quality finishing has been assuring the great success of the Living Puppets for more than 15 years now. Additionally, speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, educators and teachers are using the handpuppets in their profession with main achievements. All handpuppets have been tested from an independent Institute and meet the safety regulation of EN 71 requirements.
